MSU basketball transfer Tre Holloman commits to ACC school

Michigan State transfer guard Tre Holloman has found a new home.Holloman reportedly committed to NC State on Sunday.
The news broke across multiple college basketball media services around 12 p.m.
ET on Sunday and Holloman posted his official commitment to the Wolfpack around 12:30 p.m.
ET.Holloman reportedly visited with North Carolina, Villanova, Baylor and NC State.
It appears the Wolfpack were the winners of these four teams in contention for his commitment.Holloman stunned many by entering the transfer portal last week when the Spartans' successful season came to an end.
Holloman was a captain at Michigan State this past season and was expected to return for his senior year with the Spartans next season.
This past year Holloman averaged 9.1 points and 3.7 assists per game.With Holloman gone, Michigan State will need to add a backup point guard to spell starter Jeremy Fears Jr.
at times.
