NASCAR faces $4M ransom demand by notorious hackers after FBI warning

NASCAR is reportedly the victim of a cyber attack orchestrated by the Medusa ransomware gang , which is demanding a whopping $4 million ransom or claiming it will leak sensitive information.
According to Hackread.com , the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing was one of several companies listed on the hackers dark web leak site.
The perpetrators of the alleged attack claim to have exfiltrated 1,038.70 GB of sensitive data and are looking to be paid $4 million to not publicize it.
In apparent screenshots of the dark web page posted to social media, a timer on their portal is actively counting down from 10 days.
