Jesse Winker had just put together one of the best and most unexpected performances of his MLB career.

And then he earned a compliment from his daughter.

What a night! Winker tripled twice on Saturday night for the Mets.

He hadn't hit even one triple since 2021.

He held his daughter, Wren, in his arms during a postgame interview.

A reporter asked whether Wren knew how fast her father was.

"Is daddy fast?" Winker asked.

Wren nodded.

"Are you faster than daddy?" Winker then asked.

Wren nodded again.

Jesse Winker's daughter, Wren, thinks her father (two triples!) is fast.

It's be my daughter's father and play baseball." He did both to full effect on Saturday.

His second triple drove in a run to tie the game 2-2 in the eighth inning before Francisco Lindor's walk-off sacrifice fly won it in the ninth.

Winker couldn't have drawn it up any better.
