Cody Bellinger remains out of the Yankees' lineup on Saturday.

But the Bronx Bombers got a positive update on Bellinger's status.

Bellinger, dealing with a lower back injury, told reporters that he took swings in the batting cage on Saturday and is "feeling better." According to MLB.com's Bryan Hoch, Bellinger could enter the game off the bench Saturday and is a "possibility" to re-enter the starting lineup on Sunday.

The Yankees kept Bellinger out of the lineup Friday for their series opener with the Pirates due to what they called back stiffness.

Through six games with his new team, Bellinger is batting .238 with one home run.
