Luka Doncic says his actions vs Chicago Bulls led to LA Lakers’ loss, ‘It’s on me...’

LeBron James return to the Los Angeles Lakers after his injury did not go to plan for them as nobody gave the Chicago Bulls the script as they emerged victorious 146-115.
It was one of the times where the scoreline did reflect how the game went, as the LA Lakers completely collapsed on the defensive end in the last two quarters.
They were outscored 81-53 during that time, made even more damning because all of Luka Doncic , LeBron James, and Austin Reaves played more than 30 minutes in a 31-point loss.
Doncic cut a somber figure after the game, claiming what he did vs the Chicago Bulls condemned his Lakers to the brutal loss.
Luka Doncic on LA Lakers vs Chicago Bulls Doncic came out off the block against the Bulls, scoring a remarkable 29 of his 34 points in the first half where he shot 70% from three along with seven rebounds.
In the second half, he would add just five more points but it was another stat in the box score that would bug him the most.
After the game, Doncic said that he lost the ball seven times and the Bulls scored a lot of easy transition points, aided by Coby Whites endless energy.
Josh Giddey finished with a near quadruple-double with eight steals to add to his 15 points, ten rebounds, and 17 assists as the Lakers just didnt take enough care of the ball.
Doncic said: They scored a lot of transition points especially off my turnovers.
Gotta do that better.
Its on me.
I cant be losing the ball seven times, thats way too many for me.
Lakers helped by teams around them This is the second consecutive brutal loss for the Lakers as they came into this game on the back of a 29-point loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, albeit with an undermanned team .
However, theyll take solace from the fact that LeBron James is back and all the teams around them seem to have forgotten how to win.
Their two-game losing streak is matched by the Denver Nuggets, while the Memphis Grizzlies have lost three in a row, keeping the Lakers within touching distance of third.
The Rockets nine-game winning streak has catapulted them to second which might be a step too far for JJ Redicks team but their losing streak couldnt have been better timed.
An away trip to the Orlando Magic awaits, and Luka Doncics turnover stats will be in full focus.
