Tennessee switching to 'Titans blue' on home jerseys but won't wear Oilers throwbacks next season

The Tennessee Titans wont be making the most polarizing uniform choice in the NFL wearing Houston Oilers throwbacks during the 2025 season.
That information is buried in a Thursday news release put out by the team about a switch from navy, which has been the dominant color of the Titans home uniforms since the move from Houston, to Titans blue as the primary jersey color starting next season.
Titans blue is known by some as the Oilers baby blue, which technically is Columbia blue.
As the release said, it has been a constant for the organization since 1960, the first days of the Houston Oilers.

Several times over the years, the Titans have worn Houston Oilers throwbacks, including once in the 2024 season and twice in 2023.

Were going to emphasize that this year and change to Titans blue as the primary color.
As we sit here today, the plan is to wear Titans blue at every one of our home games this year.
