Perry high school basketball All-American Koa Peat to make college announcement on ESPN

Before taking off to Brooklyn for the McDonald's All-American Game, Gilbert Perry senior Koa Peat will make his college basketball announcement Thursday at 9:10 a.m., on the Pat McAfee Show on ESPN.Peat, a 6-foot-8 five-star recruit, who led Perry to four straight state championships, has narrowed his colleges to Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Houston and Texas.Arizona and Houston both are playing this weekend in the Sweet 16.Peat, rated among the top 10 2025 high school basketball prospects in the country by recuiting sites, averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds this season.
