LINCOLN Rollie Worster wont play in the College Basketball Crown, Nebraska coach Fred Hoiberg said.

The point guard will wear a boot for the next three weeks as he recovers from a foot injury sustained in December.

Worsters college basketball career is now over after five years, the last of which he spent at Nebraska.

He averaged 7.0 points and 2.6 assists per game this season.

Hes been really, really sore, and it just got to a point to where its tough to put a lot of weight on it, so the decision was made to put him in a boot, Hoiberg said.

He talked about trying to fight through it, but the best thing for Rollie in his career is to shut him down.

Worster will not require surgery and will be reevaluated in three weeks.

Hell remain with the team and travel to Las Vegas for the Huskers upcoming tournament.

Center Braxton Meah will be a game-time decision Monday with back spasms.

Meah missed Nebraskas final regular season game of the season and took time off after the season to recover but has gradually gotten back into it, Hoiberg said.

Gavin Griffiths twisted his ankle in practice Tuesday, but Hoiberg was hopeful the sophomore guard will be available in Las Vegas..
