PEORIA Bradley senior Darius Hannah was in Carver Arena on Tuesday, in street clothes, sidelined by an injury that ended his college career.Hannah smiled and greeted young BU fans on the sidelines ahead of their NIT quarterfinal against Chattanooga.

The senior also recorded a short thank-you video for the BU fanbase.Hannah says he will miss "all the love and support and having my back.

He went up for what looked like an alley-oop pass, and landed on his right leg.

His right knee buckled outward and he crumbled to the floor in pain.

He had to be helped off the court and to the locker room and did not return.Wardle said on Sunday that Hannah was ruled out for the rest of the NIT, thus ending his college career.Hannah initially was not going to play in the NIT.

Wardle had said his knees were sore and he wanted to begin preparing for pro tryouts coming in the offseason.Hannah changed his mind and came back into the mix to be with his teammates.
