Operation: David Reinbacher feels discomfort in his knee

David Reinbachers first full season in North America is not going as planned.
He first suffered a serious injury to his left knee at the very beginning of the season.
He therefore participated in his first game this season on February 19 last.
In his six games with the Rocket in 2025, Reinbacher played very well, collecting three points in the process.
However, the Austrian defender did not play in the Rockets last four games and we now know more about the reason behind this.
According to Alexandre Gascon, Reinbacher did not wear the uniform because he is feeling discomfort in his left knee, the one that was operated on.
I missed this at the end of last week, but Alexandre Gascon reporting that David Reinbacher is not playing for the Rocket due to discomfort in his surgically repaired left knee.
The decision is being made out of an abundance of caution.

Pascal Vincent had also specified that there was no need to panic...
If the most promising defender of the CH is feeling discomfort in the knee that was operated on, to me, its not necessarily reassuring.
We should hope that his injury was not made worse by returning to play a bit too quickly, even if he was doing very well since his return.
We have to believe that its mostly a precaution, as the tweet above states, that he is being left out.
We can assume that this is a decision by the CH to be cautious with him, because an aggravated knee injury is rarely forgiven.
Even more so when the player in question is only 20 years old and still in full development...
Lets wait and see if he can return to the lineup soon, because his presence was undoubtedly helping the Rocket as the playoffs approach.
A stable and reliable presence like Reinbachers is not common...
