We just had a nice surprise from the Montreal Canadiens' practice, live from Brossard.

After being pulled from the lineup at the last minute before the game against the Seattle Kraken and giving us quite a scare, Joel Armia has now stepped onto the ice for the Habs' practice at the CN Sports Complex in Brossard.

We love it! This is a good sign regarding his likely presence for tomorrow night's important game against the Florida Panthers.

Joel Armia is back on the ice! This is excellent news for Martin St-Louis and his team.

Here are a few images that were just captured: We will keep you updated on this situation, but everything indicates that Armia will be ready to return to his spot as early as tomorrow night at the Bell Centre.

This would likely mean a return to the press box for Michael Pezzetta .

Joel Armia, 31 years old, is a 6-foot-3, 216-pound Finnish forward who was a first-round pick by the Buffalo Sabres in 2011.

He has accumulated 203 points in 569 career games in the NHL, including 103 goals, and has recorded 25 points in 64 games so far this season.

(11 goals) He will be an unrestricted free agent this summer as he reaches the end of a contract that has been paying him $3.4 million per year.

It's worth noting that Kent Hughes had the opportunity to trade him for a second-round pick at the most recent trade deadline but declined.

That says a lot about Armia's importance to this team! This article first appeared on Habs Fanatics and was syndicated with permission..
