Dolphins mock draft: Projecting three rounds of Miami picks after first wave free agency
The Miami Dolphins have NFL Draft needs at guard, cornerback and defensive tackle.Dolphins general manager Chris Grier and coach Mike McDaniel have 10 picks to work with and may also look to select a tight end, safety and defensive end.Miami has the 13th pick in the next NFL Draft.In that draft slot in 2016 and 2019, Miami hit on offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil and defensive tackle Christian Wilkins.Our Joe Schad has already produced four mock drafts.

Miami picks 1-13, 2-48 and 3-98.Who will Dolphins draft in first round?Some of the players who make the most sense for the Dolphins include: OL Will Campbell, Armand Membou, Kelvin Banks or Tyler Booker; TE Tyler Warren, S Malaki Starks and CB Will Johnson.
It's unlikely but QB Shedeur Sanders should be considered if available at No.
13.Dolphins mock draft, Rounds 1-3Round 1, Pick 13: Kelvin Banks, T/G, TexasIn Joe's latest mock draft simulation, Banks was selected over safety Malaki Starks and tight end Tyler Warren.
Banks is athletic.
And should be able to start immediately at guard, with the possibility of moving to tackle down the line.
In this draft, Will Campbell, Armand Membou, Will Johnson and Shadeur Sanders were all already off the board.
If the player evaluation is close in the eyes of Grier, McDaniel and Dolphins' scouts, offensive line should be the preference here.Round 2, Pick 48: Kenneth Grant, DT, MichiganGrant is a massive man and Miami needs to add massive men.
At 6-foot-4, 331 pounds, Grant gives the Dolphins a much better shot to slow the run in 2025.
Up front, the Dolphins have stud Zach Sieler and...
not much else at the moment.
We can't say for sure that Calais Campbell will return.
And Christian Wilkins is long gone now.
We trust defensive line coach Austin Clark to get the most out of Grant, who often flashes but has not always been consistent.
In this simulation, blazing Kentucky cornerback Maxwell Hairston was strongly considered.Round 3, Pick 98: Cobee Bryant, CB, KansasHow could we possibly pass on a guy named Cobee Bryant? In our mock simulation, this was a tough call as we also seriously considered FSU DT Joshua Farmer.
Ultimately we want for what we viewed as the best available cornerback after taking a defensive tackle in Round 2.
Bryant, 6-foot-180 pounds, is a tough, competitive ball hawk with 13 college interceptions.
And, yes, Cobee was named after Kobe Bryant.
Cobee said his parents wanted him to have a "big dawg" mentality.When is the 2025 NFL draft?The first round of the NFL Draft will be held on Thursday, April 24.
Rounds 2-3 will take place on Friday, April 25.
Rounds 4-7 will be held Saturday, April 26.
