Steelers star drops cryptic Tom Brady hint as Aaron Rodgers free agency talks resume

George Pickens posted a black-and-white photo of himself and Tom Brady as the Pittsburgh Steelers wait for Aaron Rodgers decision.

Pickens has experienced a turbulent time in Pittsburgh since he was selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft .

He has put up 2,841 yards with inconsistent quarterback play, with his best season coming in 2023 when the charismatic receiver hauled in 63 passes for 1,140 yards and five touchdowns.

Pickens remains a deep threat, but the Steelers blockbuster trade for DK Metcalf means his days at the AFC North franchise are numbered.

Not only did Pittsburgh trade a second-round selection for Metcalf, but he put pen to paper on a five-year, $150 million contract extension.

It is highly unlikely that the Steelers will follow the Cincinnati Bengals in committing so much money to two receivers, particularly given the teams history of paying defensive stars.

As a result, Pickens - who is never far from controversy - has seemingly alluded to a potential move to the Las Vegas Raiders .

On Tuesday, Pickens posted a photo to Instagram of himself and Brady standing together.

The photo was in black-and-white, the colors of the Raiders where the seven-time Super Bowl champion is a minority owner.

It would be somewhat surprising if Pickens forced his way out of Pittsburgh when Rodgers could yet arrive.

In an old clip from last year , Pickens said: "My dream teammate would probably be Aaron Rodgers.

Aaron Rodgers or Ed Reed, or someone like that." There will be more to follow on this breaking news story and Mirror US Sports will bring you the very latest updates, pictures and video as soon as possible.
