Craig Kimbrel is one of the best closers in MLB history.
His career origins go back to a five-year stretch with the Atlanta Braves from 2010-2014.
That time started him on the path to 440 saves and counting, fifth-most in league history.
A reunion might be in the works.
MLB.com's Mark Feinsand reports that Kimbrel and the Braves are in agreement on a minor-league contract.

He had a 5.33 ERA and 23 saves in 57 appearances.
Since leaving the Braves, Kimbrel has pitched for the Padres, Red Sox, Cubs, White Sox, Dodgers, Phillies and Orioles.
Kimbrel had 186 of his career saves in Atlanta, his most with one team.
It'll likely take Kimbrel time to get ready for the season that begins in less than 10 days.
But Braves fans would certainly enjoy seeing that memorable stretch position on the mound once more in Atlanta.
