The New York Knicks are expected to begin the 2024-25 season without center Mitchell Robinson.

According to SNY's Ian Begley , Robinson will not be ready for the start of the regular season and is targeting a "December/January return date." The Knicks want to ensure that the 26-year-old is "100 percent healthy" before his season debut.

Robinson wasn't expected to be ready for the start of training camp "earlier this month," per Begley.

The former second-round pick underwent surgery to repair a stress fracture in his left ankle on May 13.
