Aaron Judge doesn't hide New York Yankees plan and has 'ideas' to make it happen

Aaron Judge has made it clear that he is seeking to etch his name among the greats of the sport and to do so, he understands he needs to win championships.
Judge reached the mountain of baseball as he helped the New York Yankees reach the World Series, with hopes of helping the franchise win its 28th title against the Los Angeles Dodgers .
However, the 32-year-old struggled in the five-game series, slashing .222/.391/.444 with an OPS of .836 as the Dodgers celebrated their second World Series title since 2020 .
Extrapolated further, Judge posted a .184/.344.408 slash line in the 2024 playoffs last season, showing just how much the Yankees' captain struggled compared to his regular season success.
Heading into the 2025 season, Judge explained his mindset heading into a new year with possibilities.
When I signed here again [as a free agent], it was about winning a championship, multiple championships, the 32-year-old said in an interview with the New York Post .
The money and all thats great, but I want to win and Ive got to do more to make sure that happens." He added that he sees himself to be an important part of the Yankees' success, stating: Ive got some ideas.
And while Judge foresees himself as an integral part of what New York is hoping to accomplish in the future, the 32-year-old revealed that the work starts with him.
The veteran understands and accepts his struggles in the postseason as of late and is working to correct his approach at the plate, though he did not specify what he worked on in the offseason.
Ive got to improve, definitely, he said to the outlet.
Last postseason wasnt the best.
I know 22 wasnt that great, either.
I dont want to think about the negatives, but its part of it.
Its the role Im in.
When youre at the top, thats what happens.
Ive got to improve.
Ive got to get better and Ive got some ideas.
Well see how it goes.
In all, the star outfielder recognizes that how the season played out left a sour taste in his mouth as he believes the season is all the same unless the Yankees win the World Series.
"Its just like every other season, whether you dont make the postseason or lose in the World Series.
It sits with you and you have to deal with it.
But you cant dwell on it," Judge added.

As the Yankees prepare to chase another championship, they will have to do so without star slugger Giancarlo Stanton .
Stanton had been dealing with elbow injuries which have kept him from participating in Spring Training and it was announced that the 35-year-old returned to New York to receive another round of PRP injections in his elbows, his third.
In speaking of Stanton's absence, Judge noted: "Its going to be tough because you cant replace a guy like him.
Just beside the numbers hes going to put up, there is the fear factor; youve got No.
27 lurking on deck behind you.
It kind of always helps you out..
