Jamahl Mosley isnt one who usually shows his emotions when discussing officiating in the NBA .

But Tuesday night inside the Kia Center was different.

The Magic coach didnt understand why some calls were made and others werent during Orlando s 1-point loss to the Raptors .

It could get me [fined] but I just dont understand, Mosley said.

I really dont.

I know how physical they are, I know how aggressive they are [and] I understand how they were grabbing and holding, he said of the Raptors.

And then we get the tic-tac fouls.

Thats where it becomes something you have to think about and I dont understand why.

Upon reviewing the final stretch of the game, the NBA agreed with Mosley.

The leagues Last Two Minute report , which is an assessment of officiated events that occurred in the last two minutes of games that were at or within three points during any point in the last two minutes of the fourth quarter, revealed two incorrect non-calls in the closing moments of Tuesdays contest.

First, the report said Toronto center Orlando Robinson was late to establish himself in a screening position in Kentavious Caldwell-Popes path, delivering illegal contact.

The illegal screen set free JaKobe Walter from Caldwell-Pope (who fell to the floor momentarily) before Magic rookie Tristan da Silva switched onto Walter.

With da Silva defending him instead of Caldwell-Pope, Walter hit the go-ahead 3-pointer to the Raptors ahead 114-113 with 0.5 seconds left.

The next incorrect call, according to the NBA , came on the ensuing inbounds pass from Paolo Banchero to Wendell Carter Jr.

The report states that Robinson reached back over Carters shoulder, affecting his ability to jump for the pass attempt.

Carter wasnt able to jump up for the pass and instead the ball hit the rim.

Due to a clock malfunction, the game clock ran to zero before any player made contact with the throw-in from Banchero.

A jump-ball was conducted at center court with less than a second on the clock and the game ended.

Weve worked on that a ton, Mosley said of the inbounds pass intended for Carter.

Its supposed to be right at the rim at 0.5 and he put it right at the rim and then Orlando Robinson walks under Wendell Carter Jr.

as its happening.

So, you can do one of two things: You can say it hit the rim and the clock went off or you can say it should be a foul because youre taking a man out in the air, he added.

One of two things.

Unfortunately for the Magic, the final outcome of the game doesnt change despite the two incorrect calls.

Although the Raptors (20-42) secured the win in the closing moments, Toronto had taken control earlier in the third quarter when they outscored Orlando 31-19 coming out of halftime.

Beedes Breakdown: Magic fall again at home to Raptors in closing seconds In the third quarter, Toronto shot 14 free throws after only taking 11 in the first half combined.

It went 13 of 14 at the free throw line while the Magic shot 10 of 13 from the charity stripe.

For the entire game, the Raptors attempted 12 more free throws than the Magic.

In 1-point win, Toronto shot 26 of 35 and Orlando shot 18 of 23.

Listen, I dont mind the whistle, I really dont, Mosley said.

I dont mind the whistle.

I just want it to be the same way.

Im OK with the whistle.

I like physical, we like aggressive, we like being that way.

Thats our brand of basketball.

Its OK.

I just like it being very similar, consistent, he added.

Thats it.

The Magic (29-34) look to snap a 4-game skid when they host the Bulls on Thursday.
