Multiple Vikings players in danger of losing their jobs after Kwesi Adofo-Mensah makes major waves in free agency

Free agency started out incredibly well for the Minnesota Vikings .

Over the first 24 hours, general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has done an excellent job in maneuvering the market and structuring the contracts very well .

CB Isaiah Rodgers : 2 years, $15 million S Bubba Bolden : Undisclosed C Ryan Kelly : 2 years, $18 million CB Byron Murphy Jr.

: 3 years, $66 million DT Jonathan Allen : 3 years, $60 million DT Javon Hargrave: Undisclosed RG Will Fries : 5 years, $88 million With a lot of players coming in, sometimes that means others will be leaving.

That could very well be the case with the Vikings.

Garrett Bradbury one of multiple Vikings cut candidates Now that we have the first wave of free agency mostly complete, the Vikings will look significantly different in the trenches with the hope that it brings a major improvement.

Not only are they looking different, but it could become even more so.

The Vikings could end up moving on from multiple players that are currently on the roster, and that could clear more salary cap space.

Kelly has never played guard in either college or the National Football League.

For years, the fanbase wanted to get rid of Bradbury due to his poor anchor in pass protection and the propensity to get forklifted off the ball a little too often.

With teams that run a wide zone system needing a center like the Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons, the Vikings could potentially trade him for a late-round pick.

They could choose to keep him because Kelly does have a tendency to get injured and miss games.

RG Ed Ingram Salary Cap Hit: $3,791,541 Dead Cap: $385,541 Salary Cap Savings: $3,406,000 Ingram has been much maligned since he was the 59th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

In the first 41 games of his NFL career, he started every one of them.

However, Ingram was replaced after the Vikings beat the Jacksonville Jaguars to improve to 7-2 by Dalton Risner who started the final nine games.

Similarly to Bradbury, Ingram doesn't have a trigger date on his contract, meaning his money isn't guaranteed for the season.

Usually, with rookie contracts, teams will keep them through the offseason and training camp to see if they have grown or developed, as it can take 3-4 years to fully round out into the player you will be.

Also, less than $4 million is a fine price to pay for a backup guard.

If the Vikings cut him, it wouldn't be a surprise, but its arguably a smart move to keep him until final cuts just in case.

Players who are free agents While these players are free agents, they aren't likely to return due to who the Vikings have brought in.
