How does Alabama look from a depth standpoint heading into the 2025 season?

One thing is for certain.
You can never have enough depth.
College football teams work effortlessly to establish depth.
With NIL and the transfer portal constantly changing, it has been a difficult task for teams to tackle over the years, even Alabama.
Alabama began its spring practices just over a week ago.
There is a dire need for depth given Alabamas departures during the offseason whether it be to the transfer portal or NFL Draft.
Alabamas coaching staff emphasized filling holes on its roster via the transfer portal and on the recruiting trail.
Several positions have more depth than others.
Some position groups that have already established depth are defensive tackle, defensive end, running back, and cornerback.
Other groups that will need to work diligently to establish depth during the spring are quarterback, wide receiver, tight end, linebacker, offensive line, safety, and special teams.
In order for Alabama to compete with other powerhouse programs, there will need to be plenty of depth year-in and year-out.
In 2025, Alabama will have a lot of experience and returning talent on its roster.
Ultimately, I expect that to bode well for the Crimson Tide in the grand scheme of things in 2025.
