LINCOLN For almost a year, Nebraskas 2025 recruiting class sat empty.

That changed Sunday when Phoenix Hillcrest Prep small forward Quentin Rhymes committed to NU after his weekend visit.

A 6-foot-7 four-star prospect according to 247 Sports, Rhymes began his high school career at Las Vegas Bishop Gorman and plays AAU ball for the Las Vegas Knicks.

In the weeks ahead of his weekend at NU, Rhymes visited New Mexico and Boise State.

He also had offers from Wichita State and TCU.

Braden Frager was originally committed to the Huskers 2025 class but reclassified to leave high school a year early.

Rhymes fits the archetype of wings Nebraska has prioritized in recruiting recently.

He has above average size on the perimeter, the length to be a solid defender and an ability to shoot from distance.

Brice Williams and Frager are two recent similar examples.
