Jordon Hudson has replied to critics of the 48-year age gap between herself and Bill Belichick .

After splitting from long-time girlfriend Linda Holliday and a serendipitous meeting on a flight where Belichick is said to have autographed Hudson's textbook, the pair have slowly made their presence known in public.

First spotted strolling through New Orleans in 2023, and later dining out in the city, they've gradually opened up about their relationship .

Finally confirming months of speculation, they went official in June 2024, before being spotted hand in hand at the American Museum of Natural History's gala event six months later.

However, their relationship hasn't been without its critics given the difference in age between the two.

With Belichick being 72 and Hudson aged 24, some have questioned the relationship.

But Hudson has had her say on murmurs, taking to Instagram on Valentine's Day to hit back at critics.

Alongside a cheerful photo with Belichick, she wrote (via the Irish Star ): "Let's take a deeper dive into the hot topic of the day...

'LOVE'.

"'What constitutes love?' or 'what makes someone worthy of loving?' are questions that require a deep analysis and could possibly enable one to understand the romances that they may not understand nor relate to.

With such a limited character count, I cannot dissect nor comprehensively answer these questions, but I will exclaim a few basic concepts." She continued by highlighting key points about love, including the simple four-word retort "Love does not discriminate", and emphasized: "It is never okay to harass or abuse a person based upon who they love.

LOVE, JORDON HUDSON." It comes amid concerns from fans over Belichick's health after he appeared to struggle walking during an outing with Hudson at a North Carolina men's basketball game against Duke.

The Tar Heels' head coach, who was appointed last year at the University of North Carolina, was seen on campus with Hudson, as videos showed him looking unsteady while she guided him to the Dean Smith Center.

Social media users shared their worries, with comments like: "Is he ok?" And a sarcastic "You'd think he's like 72 years old or something." As the college football season approaches, all eyes will be on Belichick as he prepares for his inaugural season leading the Tar Heels, with their first game scheduled against TCU on September 1.

The six-time Super Bowl -winning coach shared his vision for the team, commenting on the commitment required: "I don't really have any expectations.

"It's going to be up to each individual.

I know we've got a good plan, I know we can do the right things to put a good product on the field.

Everybody that buys into it and wants to be a part of it, will be a part of it.

And if they don't, they can go somewhere else.

That's their decision.".
