Alabama footballs new offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb is tweaking the offensive system Kalen DeBoer has in place in Tuscaloosa.

Grubb returns to coach under DeBoer like he has done at multiple spots in the past.

Grubbs return has been welcomed by Alabamas coaches and players.

Germie Bernard is one of the few Alabama players, who have played under Grubb in the past.

The Alabama wideout recently gave a brief overview of how Grubb is operating a DeBoer offense.

He didnt come in and just change the whole system around, Bernard said.

There is a system in place that coach DeBoer has put in and, each offensive coordinator kind of puts in their own little inputs, but for the most part, its really the same.

But he brought some of his NFL terminology, and then the way that we construct things are a little different, but for the most part, its the same.

Grubb shared he wants the Alabama offense to be aggressive on last week.

Bernard described Grubbs play-calling style as so during his media availability.

He just wants the best out of everybody, said Bernard.

He coaches everybody hard.

And then, most importantly, hes just aggressive with the way that he calls plays.

Hes not afraid to take any chances, take any shots.
