Andrew Cristall skates to the forefront as Caps lose preseason opener

The Washington Capitals opened the preseason with a 6-2 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday afternoon at Capital One Arena.
Wingers Andrew Cristall and Ivan Miroshnichenko scored Washingtons goals.
Bobby Brink and Morgan Frost each scored twice for Philadelphia; Olle Lycksell and Joel Farabee had the other goals.
Hunter Shepard started in net and made 11 saves on 14 shots for the Capitals.
Clay Stevenson entered just over halfway through, a planned change, and produced the same stat line..
