Colorado staffer vows to find NFL QB coach who took issue with Shedeur Sanders' attitude

Colorado Buffaloes coach Warren Sapp has vowed to find an anonymous NFL quarterback coach who slammed draft prospect Shedeur Sanders as arrogant.
Sanders , 23, is among the top prospects in April's NFL Draft and is widely expected to be among the top two quarterbacks to be taken off the board alongside the Miami Hurricanes' Cam Ward.
The son of Buffs head coach Deion Sanders didn't participate in the NFL Combine drills and opted to interview with NFL teams.
At least one team took issue with Sanders' attitude and mannerisms during franchise interviews.
NFL insider Josina Anderson went one step further and quoted an anonymous NFL quarterback coach, who slammed Sanders as "brash" and "arrogant." Colorado coach Sapp has vowed to find out who the anonymous QB coach is following his criticism of Sanders, who has spent the last two seasons crafting his high draft stock in Boulder.
"We're talking about a quarterback coach who's not a decision-maker, wants to make that call about our quarterback," Sapp said on 'Thee Pregame Show.' "I've been working for the last 48 hours to get his name.
If I get his name, oh buddy, we gonna do a deep dive into his life," Sapp added.
The NFL insider, Anderson, went on to reveal that the QB coach is employed at a team picking inside the top seven this April.
Nonetheless, Sanders has outlined his ambitions at any team he lands at next month.
He has set his sights on changing that franchise, with the ultimate prize being the Super Bowl.
"If you're not trying to change the franchise or the culture, don't get me," Sanders declared.
"If you have the franchise traits, then why wouldn't a franchise pick me? It's like a cheat code." "You think I'm worried about what critics say? You know who my dad is? They hated on him, too.
Without people hating, it's not normal for us," he added.
Alongside his legendary father and older brother Shilo, the Sanders family changed the fortunes of the Buffaloes football program two seasons ago after arriving from Jackson State.
Despite not making the playoffs, Colorado is one of the most talked-about teams in college football.
"We went from Jackson State to Colorado and changed two programs back-to-back," Sanders said.
"You don't think I could come to an NFL franchise and change a program again? It's history.
It's always going to repeat itself." The 2025 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 24 and will run through April 26 as the teams complete the seven rounds of the picking process.
Sanders' brother Shilo was not invited to the NFL Combine and is likely to get drafted in the later rounds, if at all..
