One of the best cornerbacks in this year's NFL Draft class spent time working with Joseph this past season.
Jahdae Barron Texas cornerback Jahdae Barron is an energetic, aggressive piece to a secondary.
He's widely expected to go in the first round of this year's draft, and New Orleans needs help in the secondary.
Taking Barron in the top ten would have some notable risk, as he projects best as an inside CB at the pro level.
That being said, nickel defenders have become extremely valuable in recent years for NFL circles.
While there may be more exciting defensive backs in the 2025 NFL Draft class, there arent many more high floor players than Barron.
He profiles to a zone based system on the outside, but has starter upside in that specific system.
Inside at nickel, Barron has plus starter upside and could have Pro Bowl potential as he develops.
Barron will not be for everyone, but for the right team, he should be a tremendous football player.
His zone instincts, on top of his natural competitiveness, and urgency will be a huge sell to an NFL team on the next level.
