NFL legends express Shedeur Sanders Draft concerns with brutal warning - 'Dad can't save you'

NFL Draft prospect Shedeur Sanders has been told the reason why some teams may be put off drafting him this spring.
Having starred at Colorado for the last two seasons, Sanders has put himself in a position to be selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
The 23-year-old senior is vying with Miami's Cam Ward to be the first quarterback selected this year.
However, as is tradition with the draft cycle, the concerns around prospects are always magnified.
And two former NFL receivers, Brandon Marshall and Mike Sims-Walker believe Sanders' could be passed over by some teams due to being perceived to be "flashy" and for his relationship with his father, Hall of Famer turned Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders.
"The real question is, how many teams pass on Shedeur?" said Marshall on REVOLT Sports Weekly .
"I think there is going to be a couple of teams that get that wrong.
The reason why is because theyre looking at flair.
Nobody wants their QB to be that flashy, to be making songs, to be talking about jewelry and all that." Marshall added: "Last point here, Shedeur leads the NCAA in completion percentage.
So teams are going to look at all of the flair, and all of that fame and stardom and they're going to say, 'Ah, this is where we're going to knock him, we may put Cam [Ward] up a little bit.' "But bro, that dude plays.
He's one of the ones that can separate it.
When I go into the facility, I'm locked in.
When I'm on the practice field or it's gameday, I'm locked in.
People are going to miss out on that.
I think there's going to be one team that pass up on Shedeur, there ain't gonna be too many.
It might be number one overall, the Tennessee Titans." Follow us on X for the best and latest in sports news However, Sims-Walker believes Sanders' treatment from his famous father could be detrimental to how NFL teams view him.
Sims-Walker replied: "I think his dad in this situation is a bad thing.
This is where he is going to fall like kind of back this time because you know and I know the NFL is totally different than college football.
"He is not playing against Sophomores from Katy, Texas or true freshman corners.
He got Jalen Ramsey and Myles Garrett coming off the edge.
Your dad cant save you." Want to watch more live sports? Peacock has your favorite sports, shows, and more all in one place.
