After a 13-year MLB career, Mike Moustakas will sign a one-day contract with Kansas City to retire a Royal.
"Moose," was a key part of the Royals 2015 World Series title, hitting .284 with 22 home runs and 82 RBI in 147 games.
He spent eight total seasons with the Royals, and finishes his career with 1,252 hits, 215 home runs and 683 RBIs.
