Now, with March underway, college basketball fans are anxiously awaiting the beginning of the NCAA Tournament in a couple of weeks.

The lead-up will tell a lot, as teams will crumble and lose their bid while others will go on magical runs to make it to the Big Dance.

With Selection Sunday approaching on March 16th, media and fans are already starting to speculate who will end up with what seed.

While Auburn and Duke are essentially locked into number one seeds in their respective regions, theres plenty of conversation to be had across college basketball.

Whether thats the battle between Florida and Tennessee for a one seed or how many SEC teams will earn bids, chatter will continue online until the results are final.

One of the top stories from this season has been the play of the St.

Johns Red Storm.

Led by legendary head coach Rick Pitino , they hold the top regular season record in the Big East despite teams like UConn, Marquette, and Creighton being ranked ahead of them in the Preseason AP Poll.

Johns was recently predicted to earn a top-three seed for the NCAA Tournament.

According to Sporting News Bill Bender , St.

Johns is projected to receive a three seed for the NCAA Tournament alongside Texas Tech, Michigan, and Clemson.
