Media asks Kalen DeBoer if Fox Nation’s docuseries was a distraction

Alabama football head coach Kalen DeBoer met with the media on Monday for his first scheduled press conference since the end of the 2024-2025 season.
One of the things that DeBoer was asked about was whether the recent Fox Nation docuseries, Tides That Bind was a distraction for the team or not.
I think its good, and I just think theres so many people that dont understand these guys and their stories.
I think that is what you really want to come out in these, DeBoer said, It really was not much of a distraction.
Theres one camera around practice the entire time.
DeBoer also elaborated on some of the biggest takeaways that he has had come from the docuseries.
I love that maybe theres some interviews or the camera went home with some guys and we get to learn more about their families.
We know a lot about them, but there are some things here and there that I have actually learned even watching it.
The docuseries depicts the Alabama football team in a multitude of ways from filming interactions on the practice field, in the locker room, or at a players house.
There have been some positive and negative remarks about the show among the Alabama faithful, but DeBoer seems to be in favor of it.
His answer could provide some clarity to fans that were concerned the docuseries was more of a distraction than something that benefited the Crimson Tide.
