Georgia Bulldogs center Jared Wilson's 40-yard dash time at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Sunday may have raised eyebrows.

After running a 4.9-second 40-yard dash on his first try, Wilson (6-foot-3, 310 pounds) set an even better time on his second attempt, posting a 4.84.

That was the fastest time among O-linemen at the combine.

He's the only interior O-lineman to eclipse 21 mph.

Georgia center Jared Wilson just ran an unofficial 4.84-second forty, reaching a top speed of 21.04 mph, the 3rd-fastest top speed by an offensive lineman over the last three years, and the only interior OL to eclipse 21 mph.

It seems he wasn't bluffing.

Wilson who allowed zero sacks in 12 games in 2024, per Pro Football Focus is considered one of the best prospects in the draft.

On his updated big board, ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr.

lists him as his No.

1 center.

While a fast 40-yard dash isn't a requirement for an O-lineman, it should still boost Wilson's stock.
