Magic’s Paolo Banchero wins DeVos Community Enrichment Award

Paolo Banchero was named the winner of the 2024-25 Rich & Helen DeVos Community Enrichment Award on Saturday night at the Orlando Wine Festival and Auction benefiting the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation held at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando.

This is the first time Banchero has won the award.

Finalists included Cole Anthony , Wendell Carter Jr.

and Franz Wagner.

Since 1995, the DeVos family has honored a player who has dedicated his efforts off the court for the purpose of enhancing others lives.

A panel of representatives selects the player and based this years selection on the last year of the players community work.

In addition to receiving the award, Banchero will be granted $20,000 from the DeVos Family Foundation for him to donate to the charity of his choice.

The legacy of Mom and Dad lives on through great work in the Central Florida community by the entire Magic organization, Magic chairman Dan DeVos said.

We congratulate Paolo as this years winner and look forward to the Magics continued commitment to the Orlando community.

In addition to supporting the Magics initiatives, Banchero is committed to the Boys & Girls Clubs locally and around the country, while also assisting the OMYF and the NBA in their community goals.
