NFL finally admits what Jets fans have known all along about Garrett Wilson's monster play

Garrett Wilson might even be underrated sometimes, but it's ultimately easy to see how explosive and absurdly talented the wide receiver is.
On Sunday, the NFL released a video with the best catches of the 2024 season, and the New York Jets ' weapon was recognized.

And that play was the number 1 for the entire year.
"Honestly, you're not thinking about much, how can I make a play?" Wilson told Prime Video's Kaylee Hartung right after that game was over.
"Give myself a chance to make a play.
Aaron (Rodgers) believed in me.
Once the ball was going up it's like you've got no other choice but to go and try to do what you can do.
I'm glad they switched the call, I wasn't sure so they was.
It was a cool play.
We needed it.
At the end of the day, I pride myself on coming through when we need it." WHAT A CATCH BY GARRETT WILSON, JETS TAKE THE LEAD!! #Texans 10-14 #Jets pic.twitter.com/I7nZ3bgnq6 Garrett Wilson never established a great connection with Aaron Rodgers , but he was still able to make splash plays.
He finished the season with 101 receptions for 1,104 yards, and seven touchdowns.
The wide receiver is entering the final year of his rookie deal, but the Jets have a fifth-year option for 2026 it has to be exercised until early May, and it certainly will be.
The tenth overall pick in 2022, Garrett Wilson has been one of the premier offensive weapons in football despite playing in an awful situation for wide receivers.
Over his first three NFL seasons, he had 279 catches, 3,249 receiving yards, and 10 touchdowns.
Whenever the Jets can get the quarterback and offensive line situations right, Wilson's performance will only become brighter.
