It's rivalry night in Montreal at the 4 Nations Face-Off.

The game all hockey fans have had circled on their calendars is here, as Canada and the USA square off Saturday night for a round-robin game at the tournament.

It's the first time since 2016 that the two rivals are playing in an international best-on-best competition.

Both teams picked up wins to begin the 4 Nations Face-Off.

Canada kicked off the festivities on Wednesday night with a 4-3 overtime win over Sweden .

After allowing the Swedes to score twice in the third period to tie the game, Mitch Marner beat Filip Gustavsson with a shot to lift the Canadians to the win.

Both siblings had two goals each as the USA broke out for four goals in the third period, securing three points in the standings.

With the tournament being so short, Saturday night already has championship implications.

The USA can clinch a spot in the final next week with a regulation win over Canada.

That would give the USA six points and guarantee Mike Sullivan's team finishes in a top-two spot in the round robin.
