GRAND FORKS UND senior center Cameron Berg has been the most productive player on UND's roster this season.

Berg, of West Fargo, has 16 points in 17 games, averaging .94 points per game.

Berg spoke to the Herald this week about his recovery from injury and shared some of his off-the-ice favorites.

Q.

You missed 10 games due to a foot injury.

How was your recovery and return to games? A.

It definitely took some time, just being able to wear skates again.

It was a little weird.

Then, I jumped right into games.

I felt good but there were still some little, minor things I needed to tweak and get back.

It definitely took a couple weeks.

Q.

How do you feel now? A.

I feel good now.

I feel normal.

Q.

You tallied your 100th college point last week at Denver.

Did you know that was coming up? What did it feel like to get it? A.

Yeah, my mom's been kind of keeping track.

She gave me a heads up.

It's pretty cool.

It's been a lot of college hockey for me.

To be able to get that accomplishment is pretty cool.

Q.

It looked like Dylan James grabbed the puck for you to save? A.

Yeah, that was nice of him.

Q.

What can you take from Saturday's win at Denver? A.

That's a huge win.

Obviously, Denver is a top team in the country.

To be able to get a win against them with the season we've had, the ups and downs, to know that we can still compete with the top teams is big.

Obviously, that's a huge win with the Pairwise.

We have to continue to do that, because you're only going to play good teams here down the stretch.

You saw Minnesota Duluth once this year.

What were your impressions? A.

They're a good team.

They play the right way.

They beat ASU last weekend.

They're definitely a team, if you take lightly, they're going to make you pay for it.

We definitely have to honor them and respect them and play the right way, because they're still trying to get a good spot for playoffs, too.

Anything can happen.

There are two teams fighting.

Q.

Besides hockey, what's your favorite sport to watch? A.

Definitely football.

Q.

Who is your favorite team? A.

The Dallas Cowboys.

Q.

What restaurant does Grand Forks most need to get? A.

It needs a Raising Cane's.

Q.

What's the best concert you've ever been to? A.

I'd say either Travis Scott when he had his Astroworld and I was in the USHL.

For country, I'd say Zach Bryan this year was really fun.

Q.

Where did you see Travis Scott at? A.

Omaha.

CenturyLink downtown where Creighton plays basketball.

Q.

What's your favorite place you've ever traveled to? A.

Probably Panama City, Florida.

I went there this summer with (Jake) Livanavage and (Bennett) Zmolek.

That was a really fun time.

What's a bucket list travel destination? A.

Bora Bora.

That would be pretty cool and a once-in-a-lifetime sort of experience.

Q.

Is there a song you listen to before every game? A.

When I was younger, it would be Goosebumps (by Travis Scott) but now I got away from all of the superstition stuff and whatever plays, plays.

Q.

If you have to cook a meal yourself, what's your go-to? A.

I'm probably cooking breakfast pancakes, eggs, maybe some sausage with bacon and toast.

Q.

What's your go-to cheat meal? A.

I love caramel rolls.

What's your favorite TV show? A.

Ballers.
