Rebecca Lobo names her WNBA Championship favorite after 'playing best basketball'

Speaking on a recent NBA Today segment, Basketball Hall of Famer Rebecca Lobo offered a surprising favorite for the 2024 WNBA Championship .
I think its fair now to consider the [Minnesota] Lynx the championship favorite," she said.
"Theyve been playing the best basketball since the Olympic break, theyve beaten Vegas twice by double-digits, and they were up 26 points at one point yesterday." Lobo was referencing the Lynx's 88-79 victory over the Liberty, her former team.
At one point, the Lynx trailed the reigning WNBA finalists by 26 points.
WNBA announcer dismisses Caitlin Clark theory despite record year LeBron James gives A'ja Wilson her flowers after historic WNBA feat Napheesa Collier, the WNBA's Western Conference Player of the Month , contributed 18 points and 13 rebounds to continue her MVP-caliber season for Minnesota (now 30-9).
Forward Bridget Carleton, averaging under 10 points a game, led the team with a surprising 19 points as she converted five of her seven three-point attempts.
Breanna Stewart did everything she could to drag the Liberty out of the massive deficit.
Her 38 points and 18 rebounds helped cut the lead to eight midway through the fourth quarter before the Lynx put the game away.
Where does that leave the WNBA standings going into the final game of the regular season? The 32-7 Liberty have already clinched the best record in the league ahead of the streaking 30-9 Lynx.
Minnesota is now locked into the #2 seed thanks to a seven-game win streak, creating separation from the Connecticut Sun right below them in the standings.

Our belief to be successful every game that we play.
Its a hell of a win.
