Tickets on sale for 2025 NYSPHSAA boys and girls basketball state championships

The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) announced tickets are on sale for the 2025 NYSPHSAA Boys and Girls Basketball State Championships, March 20-23.

The girls tournament returns to Hudson Valley Community College in Troy (Section II) for the twenty-eighth consecutive year while the boys tournament returns to Visions Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton (Section IV) for the first time since 2019 for a new three-year bid term.The girls tournament tickets are $12 daily for general admission seats while the boys tournament offers general seating tickets for $12 per session and premium floor seating for $16.75 per session.

Tickets must be purchased online by visiting gofan.co/NYSPHSAA.

Class A Finals, 11:45 a.m.Visions Veterans Memorial Arena last hosted the Boys Basketball State Championships from 2017-19 following 38 consecutive years (1981-2016) at Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls.

Glens Falls won the bid from 2022-24, and last year Binghamton earned the event for a new bid term through the 2027 season.

(No event was held in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19.)Both girls and boys basketball are in their second year of six classifications, extending the tournament to Thursday through Sunday for 18 games each.

Over those four days, 24 teams will compete in each tournament with champions crowned Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday morning when the finals happen.The NFHS Network, the official streaming partner of NYSPHSAA, will stream all boys and girls basketball state semifinals and finals live for the fourth straight year.

The Association entered into a partnership with the NFHS Network in the fall of 2018 and has since increased broadcast coverage of its state championships to more than 90% of all its sponsored state tournaments..
