Terry Bradshaw Weighs in on Steelers QB Situation

Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback and four-time Super Bowl champion Terry Bradshaw recently gave his thoughts on the teams quarterback situation, and hes not fond of Russell Wilson or Justin Fields.
He hopes neither is back in the Black and Gold in 2025.
Neither, I dont like either as a quarterback, Bradshaw told social media personality Amanda Vance at Super Bowl media row.
Im not a Russell Wilson fan.
I thought when Sean Payton got rid of Russell in Denver, that told me all I needed to know about Russell Wilson.
And Justin Fields is ...
hes really talented, but he just hasnt adapted well enough to the game.
Hes had some great games, but hes not like Jayden Daniels or a [Caleb] Williams in Chicago.
A post shared by Amanda Vance (@amandacaseyvance) NFL insider Jay Glazer, who is close friends with Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, does not think Wilson will be back with the Steelers in 2025.
He also does not expect Wilson to reunite with Pete Carroll in Las Vegas.
That aint gonna happen, Glazer said about Wilson signing with the Raiders on the NBC Fantasy Football Happy Hour at Super Bowl media row.
That one is over.
I dont think thats gonna happen, either (a return to Pittsburgh).
I think youll see a new start for Russell somewhere.
Dianna Russini of The Athletic is also hearing that Wilsons tenure with the Black and Gold is done.
Im hearing the same thing, Russini told Colin Cowherd of The Herd .
Those conversations started to happen at the end of the season.
They decided, Alright, were gonna probably most likely stick with Justin Fields here moving forward.
The Steelers would like to sign one of their two incumbent quarterbacks to a long-term contract this offseason, president Art Rooney II said during his annual press conference with local beat writers.
Rooney said that he think its unlikely that the Steelers will sign both of them, and that his preference would be for more than the one-year deal both players played under in 2024.
I got no idea.
I dont know, Glazer said about the QB situation.
I dont think they know who their starting quarterback will be yet.
Rooney made it clear that figuring out the best option at quarterback will be a top priority for the team this offseason.
I think theyre both capable quarterbacks, and my preference would be to sign one of them.
So that will be the priority, and I think that will give us the best opportunity to move forward, Rooney said about the possibility of re-signing either Russell Wilson or Justin Fields.
Obviously, well be looking in the draft as well.
Weve got a whole quarterback room to fill, and so theres jobs open in there, and so I wouldnt be surprised if we look in the draft as well either this year or next.
And so thats got to be the priority..
