The Toronto Maple Leafs have been able to put together one of the strongest forward corps in the NHL during the past few years.
So much so that it's known as the "Core Four" across the league.
That foursome includes team captain Auston Matthews, former captain John Tavares, winger Mitch Marner, and center William Nylander.
The latter, however, was close to getting moved by Toronto a few years ago.
