The '2024 MLB Gold Glove winners' quiz

With spring training imminent, third baseman Alex Bregman has signed a three-year, $120 million contract with the Boston Red Sox .

With Bregman headed to Boston, only Jose Altuve is left of the corps of players who made seven-consecutive American League Championship Series appearances in Houston.

Bregman is a necessary defensive upgrade at the hot corner over Rafael Devers, who is an elite bat but has a defensive runs saved of -62 in his career at third base compared to Bregmans +27.

This is a competitive move for a team that is hoping to return to the postseason for the first time since 2021.

Which brings us to todays quiz.

In Bregmans ninth and final season in Houston, the veteran saw a slight dip in his batting average and RBI from 2023, but hit one more home run in 15 fewer games and won the first Gold Glove of his career.
