For anyone that somehow missed Super Bowl LIX and checked only Eagles running back Saquon Barkleys stats the next day, theyd likely assume the Chiefs had achieved their three-peat.

But, despite getting only 57 rushing yards on 25 carries from the AP Offensive Player of the Year, quarterback Jalen Hurts and the Eagles decimated Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City en route to a dominant 40-22 victory and a Super Bowl MVP.

It took a total team effort.

The defense played the way they have all year.

Defenses win championships, and you saw how they were the difference in the game," Hurts said after Mahomes was sacked six times and intercepted twice.
