5 things learned in Frontier basketball week 6: Carroll clinching scenarios, Montana Tech in trouble?

HELENA Round 2, of the Frontier Conference triple round-robin format, went out like a lion Thursday with two nationally-ranked programs falling.
Round 3's beginning wrapped up the week in similar fashion, with Montana Techs men losing to the leagues worst team (by record).

Jeff Grahams squad, with some help, could enter the regular-seasons final week tied atop the Frontier standings.
Its been a season of overachievement for Techs women, knocking off three nationally-ranked league opponents and ending a 23-game rivalry losing streak.
The Orediggers next victory would be their most since 2010-11, having already tied win totals from the programs last plus-.500 campaign (2016-17) and a 16-win 2012-13 season.
Tech rides a 3-game winning streak into road matchups against Rocky and Carroll, games that could define just how special this season will be in Butte.
Entering the week, Tech is tied for the Frontier lead averaging 68 points per game.
Last season, Techs offense finished last among six teams (56.1 PPG).
Liv Wangerin ( ), Aubrie Rademacher ( ) and Hadley Humphreys ( ) are all averaging double figures during Techs active win streak.
