Weve seen flashes of something really special with the Martian, but hell need to pull everything together in his first full big league season to give Judge the kinds of protection he enjoyed with Soto.

All signs point to the Yankees giving Jasson the full season of running room, so now all he has to do is make good on the potential weve heard about for a few years.

Obviously losing Juan Soto is never going to be a good thing, but the moves made since his departure have at least left the club projected to be the best in the Junior Circuit yet again, even if they look rather different than they did entering the World Series .
