3 former Nebraska football players look to build NFL draft stock at Senior Bowl
A trio of Nebraska football players hope to continue to build their NFL Draft cases Saturday at the Senior Bowl.
Defensive lineman Ty Robinson, cornerback Tommi Hill and tight end Thomas Fidone II have all been in Mobile, Alabama this week, practicing and preparing for the showcase game.
Husker coach Matt Rhule made the trip out during the week, posting pictures on social media with each of the three.

The receiver was then drafted by Tampa Bay in the sixth round of the NFL Draft and has spent the past two seasons with the Buccaneers.
Cam Taylor-Britt (2022) and Brenden Jaimes (2021) are also recent Husker draft picks who took part in the showcase.
Of the three Huskers at this year's event, Robinson is the one who appears to be a surefire draft pick.
ESPN analyst Mel Kiper Jr.
ranks Robinson as the No.
6 defensive tackle in the draft.

He measured in as the heaviest player at that position in Mobile, even as he checked in 14 pounds lighter than the 310 pounds Nebraska listed him as in 2024.
Playing for the National squad, he'll play alongside a group that includes four other Big Ten defensive linemen and second-team All-SEC selection Landon Jackson.
Hill joins Robinson on the National team roster after serving as Nebraska's top cornerback.
Due to injury, he played in seven games in 2024 and started just five, somewhat hampering his ability to prove himself as a player worth of being drafted.
That has made this week important for Hill, who has the longest wingspan of any corner at the Senior Bowl.
He and Robinson combined for a highlight in Thursday's practice, with the latter breaking through the line for a pressure before the quarterback threw a ball that was tipped in the endzone and landed in the hands of Hill.
Great rep for @HuskerFootball ! Pressure from DT Ty Robinson, nice pick off the deflection by CB Tommi Hill pic.twitter.com/sPygBZsZpN On the offensive side, Fidone looks to prove his talents after an up-and-down college career.
The former top tight end recruit missed almost all of his first two seasons due to knee injuries, returning to accumulate 61 catches, 633 yards and four touchdowns over the last two years.
He checked in at over an inch-and-a-half shorter than his listed Nebraska height, but had the largest hands and wingspans of the Senior Bowl tight ends.
He showed an ability to make tough catches with the Huskers, which he's continued to display in Mobile.
Despite great coverage from @BadgerFootball s @HunterWohler , @ThomasFidone of @HuskerFootball made an INSANE catch.

Saturday and can be watched on NFL Network.
