STILLWATER Former Cowgirl Lexi Kilfoyl isnt done making history just yet.

On Wednesday night, Kilfoyl made history as the first-ever draft pick in the inaugural Athletes Unlimited Softball League Draft.

If you wouldve told me so many years ago that Id be the number one pick for the inaugural season, I wouldve said youre joking, Kilfoyl said.

Its obviously a complete honor and its a privilege to be put up there with such amazing names and get to play for people with such amazing accolades.

Kilfoyl spent last summer competing for another professional softball league, the AU Pro Softball Championship Season, where she led the league with an ERA of 2.23 and 39 strikeouts in 59 innings pitched.

She and the Bandits, who drafted her, will begin competing in the new four-team league during the summer.

The league will compete in six to eight cities this season before assigning each team a permanent home in 2026.
