Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill to be inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame

PHOENIX Arizona Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill has been elected into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame.
The Arizona Sports and Entertainment Commission announced the decision on Thursday.
Bidwill is part of the 2024/2025 eight-member class that consists of former Olympic and Arizona State swimmer Melissa Belote Ripley, former University of Arizona basketball player Mike Bibby, former U.S.
Womens soccer star and Mesa native Julie Ertz, former Diamondbacks GM Joe Garagiola Jr., former University of Arizona football standout Ricky Hunley, former MLB player and Scottsdale high school star Paul Konerko and Matt Shott, the former Senior Director of Amateur Hockey Development for the Arizona Coyotes.
Five other members of the Cardinals organization have been elected to the Hall of Fame and they are: Bill Bidwill Larry Fitzgerald Pat Tillman Adrian Wilson Jake Plummer Since Bidwill became team President, Arizona had five double-digit win seasons, including a franchise-record 13 victories in 2015.
Along with running the Cardinals, Bidwill was also instrumental in the creation of State Farm Stadium.
This years class will be honored at an induction ceremony on April 10, 2025, at Chateau Luxe in Phoenix.
