Indiana high school girls state basketball tournaments tip off Tuesday with sectional-round action | Sporting News

This year, the Indiana High School Athletic Association girls high school basketball tournament celebrates its 50th anniversary.

The festivities get under way Tuesday with the start of postseason play, as sectional action takes place in every corner of the state.

These 64 sectional tournaments will be played Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, when the sectional title games take place.

Then the following weekend will be the regionals.

On Feb.

22, the semi-states are going to be on tap.

Finally, on March 1, the tournament culminates with the state finals at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
