‘I want to get married someday’, Stephen A. Smith opens up on ‘special’ girlfriend for first time and future plans

And the ESPN personality admitted he wants to get married some day.
Smith and Chris "Mad Dog" Russo appeared on the Howard Stern Show this week.
And the subject of Smith, 57, and his private life came up.
Host Stern asked if there is a "special lady" in his life.

In the summer of 2023, he was spotted with a mystery brunette in Barbados.

Sun showed him relaxing on the beach with a female companion.
Hes more romantic than you think he is, Russo remarked.
And "Mad Dog" added Smith would likely propose over a candlelit dinner and "wont let anybody know about it.
Smith appears on First Take every weekday at 10 am ET alongside Molly Qerim.

Smith is now the face of ESPN and an executive producer on First Take having initially started working for the company back in 2003.
Smith has held various roles with the network, including hosting radio shows, SportsCenter contributions, and appearing on NBA Countdown.
He was a columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer from 1994 to 2010.
His began as an NBA writer before becoming a general sports columnist.
Before that, Smith worked as a reporter with Winston-Salem Journal, the Greensboro News, and the New York Daily News.
He also covers the NBA on ESPN as part of his hectic schedule.
The ESPN star recently made a bold claim ahead of the AFC Championship Game this weekend.
According to the First Take host, if Patrick Mahomes wins the Super Bowl this year, he should be considered the greatest of all time.
"It would be epic, there's no question about it.
It's never been done in the history of football," Stephen A.
said.
"It's still the most physical game out there, this is the National Football League.
"To be in this era with these outstanding athletes, the way the game has evolved with the kind of athletes you have to go up against to repeat...
as a Super Bowl champion.
"Especially when you consider it's the same quarterback, it's the same tight end, its the same head coach, its the same defensive coordinator.
"When you look at these guys, at some point you would think somehow somebody would answer the call.
