Lake-Lehman graduate and Larksville native Connor McGovern is one win away from a trip to the Super Bowl.

McGovern is the starting center for the Buffalo Bills, who travel to Kansas City on Sunday in the AFC Championship game.

Kickoff is 6:30 p.m.

on WYOU.

Buffalo reached the championship game by beating Denver, 31-7, in the Wild Card round and by beating the Ravens, 27-25, in the Divisional round.

The 6-foot-5, 318-pound McGovern is in his sixth pro season and second with the Bills.

He was a third round selection (90th overall) of the Dallas Cowboys in the 2019 draft and signed a three-year contract with the Bills in 2023.

The Penn State graduate started 16 games in the regular season for the Bills this year and led an offensive line that allowed and NFL-best 14 sacks.

Last season he started all 17 regular season games and both of the Bills playoff games.

Hes the son of Jim and Maureen McGovern.
