Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are both in agreement that the Baltimore Ravens beat themselves in their loss to the Buffalo Bills , with the iconic pair piling on the team after their playoff exit.

The Ravens had ample opportunity to beat the Bills in Buffalo after their impressive defensive performance, but two turnovers from Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews dropping a game-tying two-point conversion had been the difference in the defeat.

The Bills had managed a clean game offensively, while Jackson had admitted that he had attempted to do too much on his fumble, while also forcing the ball into a tight window which lead to his interception .

Speaking on Brady's 'Let's Go' podcast, the legendary quarterback asked his former head coach how he feels about teams 'beating themselves'.

Belichick responded: "You know, Ive been saying this all year about the Ravens.

I think theyre maybe the best team in football.

But when theyve beaten themselves.

Theyve beaten themselves.

And I thought yesterday was, unfortunately, another example of that for the Ravens.

They fumble the ball, quarterback fumbles the ball without getting hit.

Tight end fumbles the ball really without even getting hit.

They drop a couple of key passes and drop a 2-point conversation." Brady had added: "Thats the reality.

Its just the self-inflicted wounds." The Bills and Josh Allen advanced into the NFC Championship after the win over Baltimore, being set to face their rivals in Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brady and Belichick, who won six Super Bowl rings together in their time with the New England Patriots, are now both away from the NFL after the former retired and has become a color commentator for FOX Sports, while Belichick has become head coach of the University of North Carolina.

Belichick has seemingly enjoyed his time as an analyst this year, appearing on money podcasts while having his own with Michael Lombardi, who has joined him at UNC as their general manager, with the two regularly being critical of team performances and decisions throughout the 2024 season.

Reports have suggested that Brady has made attempts to bring Belichick back in the NFL, recently becoming a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders - who have a head coach opening - but it appears the legendary figure will be staying in college football for at least the 2025 season.
