Jerry Jones in another blow as Dallas Cowboys’ stadium misses out of huge CFP National Championship Game

JERRY Jones hasn't had the best month, whether it's currently looking for a new head coach after an underwhelming Dallas Cowboys season or watching his ex-coaches excel elsewhere.
Now, the Dallas Cowboys owner Jones will reportedly see his stadium not host a massive college football game.
WFAA reported that AT&T Stadium, the home of the Cowboys, will not host the 2029 College Football Playoffs Championship.
It's not known exactly which city will replace Dallas in 2029, but according to the news outlet, the bidding process is currently underway.
WFAA added that the Cotton Bowl, which runs the bidding process for AT&T Stadium, decided to defer its bid.
According to the outlet, one factor in the Cotton Bowl's decision to withdraw its 2029 bid is whether the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas will be completed by that year.

The Cotton Bowl has been played at AT&T Stadium since it was built in 2010.
It was previously played at the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas from 1937 to 2009.
Even without the CFP Championship , a new deal between ESPN and the CFP, which will begin in the 2026-27 campaign, will see The Cotton Bowl at Jerry World still host a handful of games.
The Cowboys' stadium is reportedly set to host semifinal games in two of the new contract's first three years (2026-27 and 2028-29) and a quarterfinal in the third (2027-28).

This year's CFP championship took place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta as the Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the Notre Dame Irish.

Before the game, however, there were severe winter conditions as a snowstorm hit the area.
Fortunately, the weather issue didn't postpone the contest.
